My name is Tiew, and I'd love to introduce myself properly.
I'm originally from Thailand — I grew up in Lampang, Northern Thailand, learning to cook beside my mum's noodle shop. From childhood, I spent my days chopping chilies, preparing ingredients, and watching her cook bowl after bowl of perfect noodles and Thai dishes. That little shop is where my love for cooking truly began.
Before moving to the UK, I built a career in Thailand's hotel and hospitality industry — Sales & Marketing, banquet sales, catering, and working closely with chefs in professional kitchen environments. But the cooking that shaped me most? That was always my mum's kitchen.
After moving to Southam in 2021, I spent a few years working as an Early Years Practitioner — nurturing little ones by day, and cooking Thai food for friends and family by occasion. It was their encouragement, and my deep love for authentic Thai food, that inspired me to finally share my cooking with the wider community.
And so, Tiew's Thai Table was born. 🌿
I cook just as I do for my own family — fresh, full of flavour, and made with genuine passion. Every meal is prepared in small batches to ensure quality, authenticity, and the true taste of Thailand. My recipes come straight from my mum's kitchen in Lampang — her flavours, her heart, her legacy.
